Welcome to the ChartCipher platform, jointly owned and operated by MyPart Ltd. and HSD Media Group LLC (each a “Provider”, and jointly, the “Providers”, “we” and “us”). And located at https://www.chartcipher.com and its related subdomain, https://editorial.chartcipher.com (collectively, “ChartCipher”). We respect your right to privacy. Your ability to make informed choices about the uses of your information is important to us.  This Privacy Statement outlines the information (“personal data”) we may collect from visitors and users of ChartCipher (“you”) and how we may use that personal data. It also outlines the methods by which we and our service providers may monitor your online behavior in order to deliver customized advertisements and marketing materials and other tailored services.


This Privacy Statement does not address or govern any information-gathering, use, or dissemination practices related to personal data collected from you other than directly through or from ChartCipher, such as from telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media.


ChartCipher is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data online from visitors in this age group. In the event you become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has enrolled without parental permission, please advise us immediately.

Our primary goal in collecting personal data from you is to give you an enjoyable customized experience whilst allowing us to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs.


1. Types of Personal Data Held and its Use

We collect personal data through ChartCipher, such as your name, job title, work and home address, telephone number, and email address in order to register you for access to certain content and subscriptions. This data includes the information that is provided by third parties login to the Platform (such as Google), such as names, email addresses and photographs.


This information may be supplemented with certain data which we will collect automatically from your use of ChartCipher, such as your postal area, purchasing preferences, and interests, your IP address, mobile device or computer, operating system and browser, screen resolution, page views, clicks recorded sessions, and geo-location.. This information is used to administer and deliver to you the products and services you have requested, to operate ChartCipher efficiently and improve our service to you, and to retain records of our business transactions and communications.


In addition, we collect any information you provide when you contact us for any reason. You are not required by law to provide us with any of the information described herein, but by using ChartCipher you agree to provide us with such information.


2. Monitoring use of ChartCipher

Where, as part of our services on  ChartCipher, we enable you to register or post information or materials to  ChartCipher, we may access and monitor any information which you upload or input, including in any password-protected sections. We also monitor and record the different sections of  ChartCipher that you visit and actions taken on those sections of  ChartCipher — e.g. content viewed or searched for. If you are a registered user (e.g. a subscriber or taking a trial), when you log on, this places a cookie on your machine (See below for more details on cookies). This enables your access to content and services that are not publicly available. Once you are logged on, the actions you take – for example, viewing an article – will be recorded. We may use technology or a service provider to do this for us.   • to enable our journalists to contact and interact with you online in connection with any content you may post to ChartCipher.

3. Marketing and Advertising

Some of your personal data collected through ChartCipher may be used by us, our affiliates, and our third party service providers to contact you by email, telephone and post for sending information or promotional material on our products and services, and those of our affiliates and our trusted partners. By using ChartCipher, you affirmatively consent to receive such commercial messages.  We give you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communications (see below for more details on your ability to opt out of these communications.


Please note that we reserve the right to send you service-related communications, including service announcements and administrative messages, relating either to your account or to your ChartCipher related transactions, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them unless you cancel your account.  


Interest based advertisements on ChartCipher are provided by our advertising partners (including Google). Our advertising partners will serve ads that they believe are most likely to be of interest to you, based on certain information about your visit to  ChartCipher and other websites. This information is collected and used, without reference to other data which could identify you in the real world, in that it does not include your name, street address, email address, or telephone number. Please note that, to collect this information for advertising purposes, our advertising provider may need to place a cookie on your computer (See below for more details on cookies).

 ChartCipher utilizes Internet cookies and other identifiers or methods of web analysis (such as Google Analytics) to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on  ChartCipher. Temporary cookies are a mechanism for maintaining continuity between pages during your visit to ChartCipher. 5. Consents and Opting Out

When you subscribe to a free or paid product on ChartCipher, you are automatically opting in to receive:

  • The ChartCipher newsletter email notifications, new product email notifications, and other email notifications; and
  • Periodic information and offers via e-mail from our carefully selected partners.

You may opt out from communications by:

We may use third party payment providers to provide payment services on the Platform. We are not affiliated with, and do not have any responsibility for the privacy practices of such third party payment services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or for the content of their websites or solutions. We do not control third parties’ use of cookies, collection of information, or how they manage such information. We are not responsible for content available by means of such solutions or services. We cannot vouch for  products offered by third parties and we urge you to exercise caution in using third-party solutions or services. It is your sole obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of all third parties, including those who operate websites accessible through ChartCipher.


8. Confidentiality and Security of Your Personal Data

We are committed to keeping the data you provide us secure and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features described above to try to prevent unauthorized access. We have implemented information security policies, rules, and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from:

9. Access to and Ability to Correct Personal Data

This provision does not apply to collection of the type of web browser used to visit  ChartCipher or to information provided or collected that does not meet the description hereunder.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.  If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, please contact us as set forth above. Please note, we cannot restore information once it has been deleted.  

Additionally, we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


11. Data Breach Notification

In the event a data breach is discovered, where there is unauthorized access to or disclosure of personal data, we will promptly notify the affected individuals and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The notification shall include, to the extent possible, the nature of the breach, the types of personal data involved, and any measures taken or proposed to be taken to address the breach and mitigate its adverse effects. For example, we may send your information to any countries outside your jurisdiction and/or outside the United States, where your information may be stored or processed. All our subcontractors will be subject to non-disclosure and non-use obligations.
